Registry Collection's Nick Turner appointed to AIPP board

29th July 2010

Nick Turner Registry CollectionNick Turner, vice president and head of new business, The Registry Collection, Europe, has been appointed to the board of the Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP).

The AIPP is a global organisation dedicated to building confidence in international property markets, representing industry professionals and promoting the highest standards of professionalism in the property development markets across the world.

Lisa Charles, AIPP operations manager, said: “We’re very pleased to welcome Nick Turner to the board of AIPP. Bringing market leaders together to steer the international industry is key to our work and Nick brings a valuable and fresh perspective to the AIPP Board from the shared-ownership arena. In these tough financial times, fractional ownership can offer an attractive alternative for overseas property buyers looking for a relatively low entry price and financial commitment. As our developer members look at ways to differentiate their product in a competitive market they may well look to the benefits offered by shared-ownership schemes to add additional value and cater to a wider range of consumer needs.”

Turner said: “This has put the fractional product on the map where it belongs. AIPP has recognised that fractional real estate is an integral part of the international real estate business sector and we, in turn, are pleased to be able to support AIPP in any we can, particularly in helping to build consumer confidence and stimulate the residential resort market across Europe.”

Turner was included in Fractional Life's Top 21 fractional real estate professionals for 2010.
